Whether you're looking to take the first plunge, build water confidence or improve technique, our Swim School team can help.
We offer a wide range of swimming lessons throughout the day across our 6 leisure centres, from children aged 6 months to adults, including specific sessions for children with disabilities or additional needs, as well as beginner lessons for older children age 8+.
Fun lessons for 52* weeks of the year. *Customers will receive a reduction for any closure periods.

These classes develop early-years water confidence and movement in the water through fun and games. These classes require a parent/carer/adult in the water at all times.
Adult and Child
These classes are for children from beginner level to advanced. Our swimming lessons follow the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework
Swim School Stages
All junior group lessons last for 30 minutes (including 5 minutes of registration) except stage 8 competitive swimming, challenge classes and rookie classes which are 45 minutes (including 5 minutes of registration).
We offer a range of adult lessons designed for varying abilities. Adult lessons run for 45 minutes (including 5 minutes for registration). Whether you’re a complete beginner lacking water confidence or a competent swimmer wanting to improve your technique, our lessons can help.
